Not that long ago, public schools in America used to have activities related to certain christian holidays like christmas and easter – activities that have now come to be regarded as too sectarian for a multi-religious, multi-cultural, secular society, with a government that claims to respect freedom of religion by maintaining neutrality on matters of faith. And they still get to keep the 1950’s insertion of “god” on our money and our pledge of allegiance, in spite of it being a quite obvious government endorsement of one belief – monotheism – over others – polytheism, buddhism, atheism, agnosticism – in apparent conflict with the 1st amendment. Of course, nobody is prevented from freely exercising their religious faith (as long as it’s not disruptive to others). Kids of all faiths can pray at any school, but the public schools cannot have organized prayer (private schools of course are free to have organized prayer). Kids can silently pray in class. They can pray more vocally during recess. But muslim children cannot chant their daily prayers out loud in the middle of school lessons, and santeria children cannot sacrifice chickens on the classroom floor. Now if we compare how she looks…she has brown hair, so does Rick but so did Shane. She has hazel but closer to brown eyes, Rick has blue eyes Shane has brown eyes. She may turn out to be a lot like Rick and that would be he raised her for half her life as her father, but that is doubtful because she is unlikely to have much memory of Rick or Carl so what she does know comes from other people. If she is likely to be like anyone from the show then Michonne is more appropriate as she has raised her for most of her life. She actually looks nothing like either of them, just like 99% of all acting families. Make a simple land rover controlled by an RF remote. Play with it in front of them for a while. Then invite them over to control the robot and let them bang it around the house for a while. After a couple of days, when they are a bit saturated, ask them if they want to increase the speed of the rover. Include them in the tweaking of the bearings and motors and let them learn what points affect the speed of a rover. Next step will be to take the rover over the water surface, may be a bath tub or a small indoor pool. Use a large tub if required. Include them in the buoyancy calculation and stabilization.
